KylinCure 500 CAS No. 17526-94-2 Molecular Formula: C13H20N4O2Molecular Weight: 264.32 Synonyms: 1,1-(4-Methyl-m-phenylene)bis(3,3"-dimethylurea); Counterpart for Dyhard UR 500 & Omicure U 24; Epoxy Curing Agents & Accelerators; Substituted urea acceleratorDescription KylinCure 500 is the most reactive blocked accelerator for Dicy - Epoxy systems allowing a long shelf life. Meanwhile, it provides with fast curing and high cross-linking density.  KylinCure 500 decomposes under heat to form NCO- (isocyanate-) groups and catalytically active dimethylamine. The dimethylamine accelerates the curing of the epoxy and the isocyanates react with epoxies to form additional linkages via oxazolidinones. KylinCure 500 is more reactive than KylinCure 400.   Key Properties Latent Reactivity: Exhibits excellent storage stability at room temperature, with curing initiated only under elevated temperatures (thermal activation). Controlled Cure Profile: Provides a long pot life during processing,…
