Barcode Scanning Optical Product Code (OPC) is a variant of Interleaved 2 of 5. It has also been known as Vision Council of America (VCA) barcode. This symbology is used to mark optical retail products, such as eyeglasses, to identify the product and its manufacturer. OPC is defined in The Optical Product Code (OPC) Guide for Lenses document that is maintained by The Vision Council.
