Working Principle​The operation of the single flange differential pressure transmitter is based on the principle of force balance. Its main structure consists of a measuring diaphragm, which is located in a closed chamber and connected to the measured medium on one side through a single flange. ​When the pressure of the measured medium acts on the single flange, the pressure is transmitted to the measuring diaphragm. Due to the pressure difference on both sides of the measuring diaphragm, this causes a slight displacement of the diaphragm. This displacement change causes the distance between the diaphragm and the surrounding capacitor plates to change, resulting in a change in the capacitance value. ​The electronic circuit inside the transmitter detects this capacitance change and converts it into an electrical signal proportional to the pressure difference.
